Hybrid Elements design
• Performance rails, bottom rocker, and foil to make it fast, stable, and maneuverable on the wave.
• The flatter rocker and added width catch waves easily and generates speed combined with a pulled-in round tail for bite and hold through rail turns and in steeper waves.
• Ideal for intermediate to advanced surfers seeking one of the most versatile and user-friendly short boards on the market that suits any wave situation from beach breaks to point breaks.
Fin setup:
• The five-fin box system offers a thruster or quad setup, allowing you to fine-tune your Hybrid Elements for the conditions.
• The Elements Hybrid comes with 3x MFC-designed fins out of the box, but an RTM upgrade is available from NSP too for grippier turns and more performance.
• On average-to-smaller days, go quad and keep the thruster setup for the bigger days when conditions allow for slice turning.
Who is the Hybrid Elements for?
A Hybrid surfboard firmly stands where the generic Fish-type board meets your performance surfboard model. By adopting the best features from both concepts, the end result is a surfboard that paddles easily, is stable and generates speed like a fish. And yet has the manoeuvrability of a high-performance shortboard.
A Hybrid Elements is generally surfed a few inches shorter than your standard shortboard.So what you might lose in speed, you will get back in its ability to turn in average wave conditions.
A shorter board comes in handy in smaller surf too, as you can whip turns around in a tighter radius than something longer, allowing you to squeeze as many turns in as short of an area as possible.
